|
|
hi - just tried to log on after maybe a year or two of inactivity, and my account doesn't seem to exist, so i created a new one. is there a particular time after which inactive accounts are deleted?
i also couldn't find my old account, or that of the only friend whose name i recall, when using the "browse" function. is it really the way the first drop-down menu implies: you can select "new members," "recently updated," etc. - but NOT "all members" or something of the sort? you HAVE TO filter your search in a way that includes only recent/featured members?
thanks in advance for your help! _________________ artax |

The time frame for accounts being deleted is one year. To keep an account active, a member simply needs to at least log in within that time.
As for the browse section, the New Members and Recent Logins will always return all members in order of time they joined or last logged in respectively. So in fact, you are getting an "All Members" result.
The best option when searching for someone in particular, and you have their name or portion of it, is to use the "Keyword Search for:" username. Just leave the setting on New Members or Recent Logins, then type in the partial or full name. _________________ SiteAdmin |
