What does an MDS Group Do?

Hey guys? Last year it looked like my big board might become bankrupt and go poof, so I fiddled with a Great Lakes Group here on MDS. Now someone has joined it!

Can I please know what a Group does? Is it a mini-message board? A chatroom?

It's sort of like a mini-message board. Just the members are more subject/topic centric. The one you mentioned seems location specific. Others are gender specific, others still are fetish specific.

You can make a group invite only. You can make the members of the group hidden to non-members.
