No real thanks to the local power company for the multi-day power outrage. Yeah, they claimed that this wasn't going to happen, after the masively fucked-up response job to Hurricane Isabel.
Mind you, I'm not in any way, shape or form, maligning the line crews who were working their asses off in order to restore things after the crisis. Shit, they deserve all the praise & attention they can get.
No, it's the corporate decisions that I disparage. Haven't seen PEPCO make a decent one yet. |
